Our bourbon: Where to take a sip
Among the many reasons people come to Louisville and Southern Indiana is bourbon, the treasured elixir appreciated by generations.
This Guide to Kentucky Distilleries, published by the Courier Journal, profiles 14 Kentucky bourbon distilleries plus one that bottles some very tasty brandy. Most are in Central Kentucky - the Bluegrass area - but you can also find several others, including Angel's Envy, Old Forrester and Evan Williams being distilled and poured close by in downtown Louisville.
